O PIS (Social Integration Program) It is a right of workers in Brazil linked to the CLT regime. Eligibility for PIS
The criteria for receiving PIS include:
- Registration with PIS for at least five years.
- Have worked with a registered portfolio for at least 30 days in the reference year (2022).
- Average salary of up to two minimum wages during the reference year.
- Correct information provided by the employer in RAIS or eSocial.
PIS Release Dates in 2024
PIS payments in 2024 will be made in the order of the workers' month of birth, with a deadline for withdrawal until December 27th. See specific dates:
- January: available from 02/15/2024
- February: available from 03/15/2024
- March and April: available from 04/15/2024
- May and June: available from 05/15/2024
- July and August: available from 06/17/2024
- September and October: available from 07/15/2024
- November and December: available from 08/15/2024
PIS Value Calculation
The amount received by PIS is calculated based on the months worked in the reference year. The total amount can reach a minimum wage, depending on the length of service recorded.
